Paper 1: DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF MOBILE CHARGING SYSTEM USING THERMOELECTRICITY(1-5)

Abstract: Energy sources differ throughout the world-, as do the costs of acquiring those sources. Electric energy has become an important element in our daily lives, especially for those devices that cannot be eliminated due to necessity. The usage of mobile phones has become an important element of our lives and their battery consumption is increasing due to the installation of a variety of Android applications. Electricity is required to charge the battery of the mobile phone; however, and at times, while travelling in a remote area there might not be access to electricity. Thus, the mobile would not be able to recharged. This paper presents the idea to design a mobile charging system using thermoelectricity. The thermal energy from the human body has been utilized to generate the electric power needed for the mobile charging process. To do this, a Peltier circuit device is connected to the human body. The difference in temperature between the human body and the atmosphere generates the voltage at the output of the Peltier circuit. The output from the Peltier circuit is then given to the boost converter and amplified to generate 5 volts which in turn are used to charge the mobil.

Paper 2: STUDYING THE FAMILY’S INFLUENCES ON HOUSING DESIGN- A CASE STUDY OF HYDERABAD (6-10)

Abstract: Family involvement and its consequences plays an important role in designing the house, un fortunately we didn’t pay attention towards the individual opinion while designing the house which after construction become problematic & the family members change them accordingly. House is the entity where the end users are mostly more than one, & the choice of every single person matter while designing it, but the middle-class families never take it into consideration, the idea is to research the involvement, family decision & making that happen while designing the house. The middle-class families just follow the trend with the help of contractor and while breaking all the rules, laws they also neglect family decision towards space planning & designing. For researching the particular problem, Author utilize quantitative, qualitative, rationalist & comparative research approach. That help in listing out the factors which influence the family opinions in house design, also in listing out the family’s decision-making process while decorating & Designing the house. The study focuses on Hyderabad & will help in sorting out the problems faced by dwellers after the construction of houses where they can’t perform any amendment in term of design and they always disown some of the spaces due to undesired design approach.

Paper 3: CONVERTING MUET INTO GREEN CAMPUS- INITIATIVE TOWARDS SUSTAINABLE GROWTH- A CASE STUDY OF MUET, JAMSHORO (11-16)

Abstract: IOver the past some decades, environmental attention & sustainability has become most discussed topic in national & international arena. This issue resulted in the number of concerned companies to grow rapidly, producing green products. Climatic change concern is most common factor recognized in proposing & producing the green areas specially in universities for ecofriendly & sustainable campus. Mehran University is one of the leading universities in Pakistan & also renown in international globe. This research revolves around conversion of MUET into green campus & explore developing themes which follow the green campus initiative and to validate critical factors for implementation through both quantitative and qualitative research approach. This will help in changing the climatic conditions within the campus, and will initiate towards creating bearable environment for students even in harsh climate of Hyderabad & will help in taking concrete initiatives as recommendations would be given by researcher for sustainable growth of green campus.
